About Kenya Railways
Kenya Railways (KR) is a State Corporation in the Ministry of Roads and Transport. The corporation was established in 1978 under the Kenya Railways Corporation Act (Cap 397) of the laws of Kenya to take over the railways section in Kenya after the collapse of East Africa Community in 1977.
